Though our club is only young there is still a history and a future direction. 

Where are we from??

Our club was first dreamt of by our founding president - Rob - Krittas who posted a thread in late September 2007 on the national patrol forum (www.patrol4x4.com/forum). That thread had a huge response.

The www.patrol4x4wa.com site was created in October 2007 to cater for the unknown masses of patrol owners in Western Australian, this was also the initial point of call for the fine tuning and ultimate creation of the Western Patrol Club Inc.  In November 2007 the patrol 4x4 WA forum held a gathering in Kings Park to gauge the interest in a patrol based club in Western Australia.  There was a massive turn out of near on 30+ patrols.

In January 2008 the Western Patrol Club became an official club with the arrival of its incorporated body name and in March 2008 became an affiliated member of the WA4WDA (West Australian Four Wheel Drive Association). By May of that year there was more than 50 families and members completing the criteria to become full members.

Where to from here???

Well our club is looking at taking an active role in track care and up keep with the adoption of a few tracks around the state. We also hosted the Convoy for Kids run in 2008, which is a fund raise drive from the Motorplex to the Joondalup Arena raising money for the Sid's and Kids foundation.

This is only a start for what will make this the largest and most dynamic family orientated club in Western Australia.
