Powerlines - 3/10/09

ok here goes.........
just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale about a fatefull trip, that started from a KFC,the one in mundaring, the one in mundaring(ok enough gilligans island)
so with the kfc carpark as meet point 9 GQ's amd only 2 GU's started, yep pretty much started as all trips, leaders thank you ,bla bla bla,on to the hwy to flynn rd,then the "lines"for airdown, pretty much dusty till we get to the biiig puddle ,that got the dust off, next to that is the rut hill, with only gqswb and tuff tonka giving it a go,but the hill conquered both(tuff tonka with a bang of the bullbar and a crushing of the sidestep decieded to forego the steepest one and one over to the next one, next was that level flat rut that tests the flex, lord muck going through ok till getting hung up but with reversing and a right boot he was out, again tuff tonka showing that even GQ 's have plastic with a crunch of flares ,tearing the back one,so with darkness approaching and strains of"im hungry' in the background it was off to the "step up"(chopped to buggery")with only a few attempting (even a lone GU made it up)so barbie time and food was consumed, after a while we were off to the dark dusty yonder till we reached "THE BOG HOLE"swallowing gqswb front end in the process and lord muck as well on the other bank,so time for two recovery demonstrations, and gqswb decied another line and floor it was the way through, then tuff tonka through almost making it but hunging up on something underneath so recovery again,so with only gqswb an tuff tonka on the other side and the radio crackling with"i think im lost"the rest of the club tried to find a "fish' and a way around, bit of a detour and we met up with the two bogholers, then on to talbot rd,down to the lakes for airup n chat then hometime

no GU's were recoverd by GQ's
and only a GQ broke plastic although the GU's were outnumbered 9 to 2
feel free to post picys as ive nun

Yeah I know I look good, one day later I hope to buy a jacket and a cap, but for now I think I'll be doin some repairs. Damage List: coupla flares
             coupla mud flaps
             reverse light
tie rod and another one behind front axle ( previously damaged just compounded now )
all in all though, pride is still very well intact.
And that's right there where only 2 GU's.
