PLUMBERS LETS ALL GET OUT AND GO SOMEWHERE TRIP
« on: 20 April, 2010, 07:48:41 PM »
Saturday's trip to Mount Talbot brought out the mighty GU's - the Q's obviously too scared to show... oh, plus one cruiser dragging, I mean tagging along...  The weather was perfect, however the general consensus that a bit more of the wet stuff would have made the trip more fun, as all the muddy areas were very um, more like concrete... with a couple of exceptions.

The day was spent mainly navigating the tracks around Mount Talbot and a surrounding farm, which was home to a farmers big collection of various vehicles, rubbish, and a fiat that looked like a mini 4wd... just add some of the tractor tyres, and some lockers, and it could have been interesting.. it even sported an ARB sticker...

Generally the terrain was 2wd, however, we did all manage to play in a couple of bogs, getting the mighty U's muddy.  Later in the day, a nice bog hole was attempted with 3 out of the four trucks that attempted it getting bogged.

Everyone had a great day out, better than spending a day inside!  All the mighty GU's getting home without the need for a tow... (What else could be expected, given the sheer strength of the beasts?!!)
