Well as Beachy said Heidi and I were the last ones to arrive (club members that is). We were all perched on a nice long table with great views of Cockburn Sound and Garden Island. The Bee's Knees were going down well but not as well as the Sangria of which all of the ladies imbibed. The food was first rate and like the ales flowed almost constantly.
Once our jolly little group got together we separated as is the norm into the fair sex at one end and the mere males at the other where we regailed each other with stories of daring do, and spoke about future trips. The camping show might have got a mention or two as well.
I could not think of a better way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon than by sitting around with a group of friends enjoying the one man band and the ambiance and the Serenity.......Ahhhhhhh the serenity, you could feel the serenity.
Well Beachy and Jan did it again they provided a wonderful venue and a great atmosphere. It is social events like this that add to the greatness of this awesome club. To Wayne and Jan from everyone who attended we salute you, well done and cant wait for the next culinary trek.
To those who couldn't make it you missed out on a awesome afternoon.
