After the exit of the day trippers, we headed for camp. We learned alot of interesting lessons on this particular trip. I will summarise but if you want full details............... you should have been there!
Or you can wait for the mag
Lesson 1: If the car before you could not make it through with the same lift, lockers and tyres you have , 2 extra cylinders and a truckload more right boot makes for the same end result......... YOU WILL END UP ATTACHED TO THE SAME RECOVERY DEVICE USED TO EXTRACT HIM
Lesson 2: Recoveries are like government departments......... the more consultants involved, the greater the chance of the member losing his seat before a result is achieved.
Lesson 3: Arachnids with only 4 limbs cannot climb trees, even if they are laying on the ground in nice neat piles
Lesson 4: When adding accelerant to a fire, it is recommended that you avoid pouring direct from the Jerry Can. Or at the very least make sure the chainsaw is fully fuelled before hand. Plastic + Fuel + Fire = toxic smoke and a pretty orange flame
Lesson 5: Never forget to say goodnight to the group unless you intend on sleeping with a utility knife or an empty bottle.
Lesson 6: Never get in the way of a Badger when a recovery is required, especially if there is a Hilux involved.
Thanks to Rob and Thomas for putting this one together, plus Ben & Brad for the enjoyable afternoon out at Waroona
