Once again to the Beachshack and Annex for another bash at Ivana
Present
BigBaz, Beachbums, Howezit and ET who was brought to our play date by Marge who had a chat with us all and a look at the car before getting herself out of harms way and leaving ET to play with us.
Amidst much discussion work progressed on Ivana work commenced with pulling out the starter motor to give it some more love. It is definitely a sook as it only wanted to see fresh air and have a spray of silicon and it works again.
Further securing of the drivers seat, it was deemed that 2 bolts maybe insufficient for it to safely hold in place when the more portly amongst us were at the wheel.
Finally for the day the navigator/winch monkey seat brackets were fabricated and installed along with the seat. Installation and use of available fittings and fasteners throughout the day is a testament to the agriculture ingenuity amongst us (Stop shaking your head ET)
Eventually rain stopped play conveniently at beer "o" clock and then it time to get her back down the back paddock time. For those who have been there you know it's a tight squeeze but after jamming my buttocks into the seat (I think that was just tighter than the gap between the shed and the fence) I managed to get it down there without a scrape. Actually felt pretty good having a drive adds to the excitement as we get her ready for action.
Beachy is still twitching to take the grinder to the old girl and hopefully next session we can start work on the suspension.
