Hi All, With the ribs in the offset smoker at 8am the day was looking goooood 

Big Baz was first to arrive closely followed by Brisey. The aim was to try fitting the "new to Ivanna" rear springs and see if we could work out how to rig the "Goofy Suspensio" that she will eventually get.

Interesting point was that when we went to jack the wheel off the ground at the startit only took 2 pumps on the trolley jack to do it not much flex there at all,eh?

So, with a fair bit of umming and aahhing (couldn't do much zigging and zagging) we managed to prise the first rear spring off and fit up the new one.







With good timing RobsGQ came trundling up the driveway thinking we'd be finished and ready for a few nibbles and a bevvy or two. When he found out that we still had one for him tom play with he quickly pushed everyone else to one side and got stuck in muttering something about "Us GQ people know how to handle a wrench" Well, I think he said wrench?
In record time the second spring was in and Ivanna down off the jack. BTW quite a bit of humour about hilift jacks arose. Does anyone really use them?



Around now, with impeccable timing ET and Mrs Evil arrived closely followed by The Flying Badger with Hannah as co-pilot.With the tools hastily jammed back in the shed it was over to the BBQ Shack for a recoup of the days work with a few bottles relieved of their contents and the tucker pulled out of the BBQ's and quickly scoffed although it was hard to get rid of that last chicken wing 

It was a fun afternoon of mucking around with Ivanna and sitting around haveing a laugh with some fellow clubbies.

A good day we achieved something, no we achieved 2 things, had good fun, great company, excellent food and Beachy still couldn't talk us into letting him loose with the grinder. Watch out though he has about 90% of the way convinced us, reckon once we have the front springs done we'll have to let him loose.
