WPC 4th Birthday Party 11-3-12

Well what can I say seeing as how I rocked up at lunch time not a lot, by the time I got there everybody was set up and enjoying the shady trees, green lawn and a gentle breeze made it feel 10 degrees cooler than the 39 it already was. A great spot had been booked close to the motor and tractor museum's, the paddling pool and a shop supplying soft drink and ice creams designed to empty parents and grand parents pockets.

Well I didn't take notes and didn't meet everybody who was there so if I miss anybody out or have added anyone in who wasn't there please accept my apologies so here goes, in attendance (I think, Beachy can edit this for me) were

Beachbums
Budds(and the tame yank).
The FlyingBadger
Rusty nails
GQSWB
BigBaz
Runup, 1BBQ and crew
L300 and the gang
FOS
Bloggys
PatrolGUIV.2
Iffy
2shortgq & shorties
Craig
Amanda and girls
Bloggsy's Friends

After some chit chat and lunch FOS and myself got called out to a rescue mission, some young blokes had bogged their car over the road from the park. A mercedes may have everything that opens and shuts but their not much chop in the sand. Whilst we were gone Beachy kicked off his fold the dunny tent contest unfortunately for me and FOS he was determined to let us compete so kept the competition open until we returned. Not sure why we certainly didn't affect the final outcome of the competition, can't remember who won though.

Votes were then taken for the best patrol on the day which was won by 2Short for his flash looking GQ shorty well done Thomas.

Special mention should go to Beachy for decorating his rig party style in the club colours, well done mate.

After that a few of us drifted into the motor museum great place for a look around and some nice toys even one for the girls.

By about 2.30 the breeze had died and it was starting to feel like the 40 degrees it really was so most people began to drift off having had a great day, much thanks to Beachy for getting this together and also don’t forget  L300 who’s idea of a show and shine kicked off the idea.

Good shots Bloggsy

Still can't get over considering how hot it actually was what a pleasant place it is.
