We're back!!! Well got in yesterday arvo
A big thankyou to all that came along on this one.
It can be a bit daunting to commit to hanging out for a few days with people you don't know, so a special thanks to our Newbies - Daniel, Phil and Michelle {aka Sheldon for this blokey trip}
Look forward to catching up with you on future trips.
We had a great mix of people and a hell of a lot of fun and covered a huge area over the 4 days of the trip,
Collie, Lake Muir, Walpole, Mandalay Beach, down to the mouth of the Broke Inlet, back to Fish Creek and West Cliff Head, Gardiner River to Windy Harbour through the dune track, then down the Summertime Track to Malmup Beach, along the beach crossing the Meerup River, past Calcup and over the Warren River, then out via the Yeagerup Dunes, bactracks to a crossing on the Warren River to Heartbreak Trail and on into Pemberton. A few of us stayed on checked out Lake Jasper, Twin Karri Beach, Jasper Beach, Black Point and a few places inbetween.
Most of us clocked up around 1000 to 1200 kms over the weekender so you can see there was a LOT of driving to be done.
Oh, and we won't mention Brokeback Mountain ........................ what happens on the trip stays on the trip

PS I forgot to acknowledge Ewans (Figjam) help in leading us up the beach from Malmup over the river crossings and out of Yeagerup. His knowledge of the area gave us all great peace of mind, Ta mate.
