Purely out of curiousity... How far up did the '62 get?
...

If it's Tourist Season why is it illegal to shoot 'em?.

Not far at all.
I may stand corrected, but..
I believe it was second-shortest distance up.. beating a navara..

Believe it or not it beat the Colorado aswell and only came 1 point under my score. It actually got further up the ramp than me but lost out on score purely by calculation from wheel base

Distance up the ramp for comparison purposes is:
Mike (XLR8) sagged 3" lift 1035
Rob (Robs GU) 2-3" Lift 1077
Craig's stock Y62 1072, a mere 600mm less than the highest scoring Patrol

Rather impressive for a fully IFS/IRS vehicle.
