Preston beach trip 15th of jan 2017 trip report.
« on: 15 January, 2017, 05:14:43 PM »
This is my first trip report for my first trip as a trip leader for the first trip of 2017.  :cup:

We arrived at the meeting point at 0900 hrs with 4bye4, iffy with goose, NAGA and chandelle already there. After greetings and a coffee strevros and his wife trish arrived then we started the usual club paperwork and official business.

At 0918 hrs we commenced our 16km journey to white hill road where we aired down and headed towards white hills beach. From there on we enjoyed a nice drive about 18km up the beach where we had lunch, happy snaps, a chat and the usual show and tell of the rigs.. after an hour or so we drove up to preston beach to the carpark.

At this point 4bye4 and stevros aired up and left the trip via preston beach road. Iffy, NAGA and myself decided that we would return to white hill road via the beach.

It was a nice and easy drive back with only one stop to cool down a td42 *cough*  ;D
We aired up on white hill road and the trip concluded at 1345 hrs

I'd like to thank everyone that came on the trip and thank you for you patients with my trip leading. It was a really great day out and i had a heap of fun.

Thanks again
KINANG.

This trip was completed with absolutely no incidents. The beach was  bit cut up which made for some interesting shake downs on the vehicles, nut nothing of consequence. Great day and I think the stop for vittles and drinks could have turned into a long day sitting on the beach if we had let it. Thanks to Paul for the organization and Iffy, NAGA and Stevros and partners for the company. No pics from me as I was busy driving, but I think others have a few pics to put up.

Thanks you Kinang for leading this trip    8)

It was an enjoyable daytrip down the beach from white hills to preston & back.

The stop for brunch/lunch was well timed and it was good to have a chat to everyone.
Goose was the only one brave enough to go for a swim, Naga did get his ankles wet though...

I'll have a look through my gopro footage and see if i can find Steveros's beach drifting  >:D

It was a nice easy and enjoyable first trip for the year.

Cheers,

Iffy & Goose.

P.s.. Goose said the waves were awesome..

Not to get technical...but according to chemistry alcohol is a solution.
Many Bothans died to bring you this information.

Dear alcohol,
We had a deal where you would make me funnier, smarter, and a better dancer. I saw that video. We need to talk...

Thanks Kinang for organising this trip. Good job bud

Sounds like you picked up a bit of a cough though? Must have been all that salt air you don't get up in the hills.

Good to meet a couple of new people and meet again people we have met so far on the meet and greet.

All in all another great day on a great beach. (i'll be keen for an overnighter and a fish  ;) Kinang)

Cheers,
Naga and Channie
