WPC Christmas Party - Whiteman Park
« on: 11 December, 2017, 10:40:27 AM »
Well Ladies and Gents,

The 2017 WPC Christmas Party was held on Sat 9th Dec 17. The weather gods were kind to us in that we had a cool breeze and some passing showers.

We only had a small turn out however I am hoping that everyone had fun. Santa showed up around 1300 although his Awesome Elf was unable to attend this year as he was back at the workshop busy making toys.

We feasted on burgers and that great Aussie staple a sausage sizzle. and sat around telling tall stories.

I hope all who attended enjoyed themselves. The looks on the kids faces when Santa shows up is priceless.

I think we might do a beach one next year.

Merry Christmas

I echo Knoxy's thoughts. Thanks in particular to Budds. Not sure about the beach next year. It can take a lot more concentration depending on how many kids attend. If that were to be though, The barbecue area at Hillary's Marina or Freo may be the go.

Thanks Budds and Western Patrol for letting us gatecrash at your Xmas picnic.  It was very nice and relaxing and thanks to Big Col and Bill for answering all my questions and giving me a brief background of the club.  My fav sausage sizzle made my day! Was noticing that the President was a multi-tasking guy and the kitchen was managed by the guys.  Not bad! Nice day and met nice folks like u and u met us too... (Pauline)
