Description: This 105km 4WD track starts from Nanga Mill in Lane Poole Reserve, Dwellingup and ends at the historic Quindanning Hotel.  It is for day use only and takes around four hours to complete. The track is currently rated 'difficult' - suitable for medium to high clearance vehicles with dual range and all terrain tyres, for drivers with reasonable experience or 4WD training, travelling in groups of vehicles.

Much of it runs along old rail embankments, where trains once hauled timber from the forests. There are picnic places along the way but no campsites. The track is not designated as one way and is wide enough in places for cautious passing.

We will stop on the way at the picnic areas for morning tea and lunch. If we make good time we might even be able to stop for a late lunch at the Quindanning Hotel (if its open) or just a cold bevvie.

The club recover gear will be available for use along with some portable UHFís.

Comms: Primary: UHF channel 20; Secondary: UHF Channel 18

What to Bring: Recovery Gear, Air Compressor, First Aid Kit, Lunch, Snacks, water and your camera and donít forget your GPS because more than one is good.

Contact: Please post here if you are coming along and PM SteveNDee with a mobile number. If we have your mob number we can check if you are running late and organise another meeting point. If you drop out late we can contact you and the rest of the crew can get moving instead of hanging around wondering.
