Mundaring Powerlines Day trip.

Who: Members, Family and Guests

When: Sunday 5th July 2020

Trip Leader: KINANG

Where: Mundaring Powerlines track

Terrain:
1 - Relatively Easy (Beginners)
2 - Moderate to Easy
3 - Moderate
4 - Moderate to Serious
5 - Serious and Endurance

Rating out of 5 will be? 3-5

Distance: 24 km

Meeting Point: KFC Mundaring (typical)

Meeting time: 1000 hrs for a 1030 hrs departure. Last one there gets the trip report.

Dog Friendly: No

Description: Standard Powerlines run. Great day out to have some fun in the 4x4.

The club recover gear will be available for use along with some portable UHFís.

Comms: Primary: UHF channel 20; Secondary: UHF Channel 18

What to Bring: Recovery Gear, Air Compressor, First Aid Kit, Lunch, Snacks, water and your camera and donít forget your GPS because more than one is good.

Contact: Please post here if you are coming along and PM KINANG with a mobile number. If we have your mob number we can check if you are running late and organise another meeting point. If you drop out late we can contact you and the rest of the crew can get moving instead of hanging around wondering.

145km to the start point!
I'd love to join you.... but :(
One of my earliest club trips was a night run up the powerlines back in Aug 2012 with XLR8. Who remembers that?!

if you leave straight from work, then you can have a kip in the carpark while awaiting everyone else

yes I remember this trip, I had to change shifts and was away on site when it went ...................
I still have the 4wd mag that has the photos from that trip somewhere

Will my rig be ok for this trip. I have 33inch tyres and a rear locker but no lift.

Might be flying partially solo with Nev sleeping in the cab :), coming off night shift.
Getting out and about in nature is my happy place.
