What: Wanagarren Track - March 28/29 2020

Where: Wanagarren Track, Wedge Island
   
When:  March 28/29 2020

Who: All WPC Members and Families

Trip Leader: TTTa as a member of the WA4WDA

Terrain:
1 - Relatively Easy (Beginners)
2 - Moderate to Easy
3 - Moderate
4 - Moderate to Serious
5 - Serious and Endurance

Rating out of 5 will be?:   2-3

Distance: Your Place to Wanagarren Track and surrounds, and back

Description: Tasks: Track maintenance and coastal remediation. Senior Ranger Dave also wants to speak to us about establishing a pattern for ongoing shared management and project care
given the trial nature of the eco-node camping.

Camping: We will be trialing a couple of the sites on Saturday night – a beach side ale at sundown sounds an OK end to the day ……..please remember this is for tenting or roof top camper and we need to be toilet 
self -sufficient. For those with caravans we are allowed to camp at the morning briefing point.
Sunday: A couple of hours or so morning work with Dave and team to complete the weekend tasks and then tide dependent head south and exit from the beach at Wedge. Alternate route north to Grey exit.

Car Limit: none

Dog Friendly: no

Meeting Point:  at the end of the bitumen off the Grey Access Rd. (If you haven’t seen it take a look at the information bay at the track entry including signage bearing our name.)

Meeting time: 9 am Saturday 28th

Comms: UHF channel 20
