What: Weekender – WPC Gymkhana and Bush University

Where: Austrax 4X4 - Brookton
   
When: Friday 27 – Monday 30 Sep 2019

Who: WPC Members and Newbies

Trip Leader: Budds

Terrain:
1 - Relatively Easy (Beginners)
2 - Moderate to Easy
3 - Moderate
4 - Moderate to Serious
5 - Serious and Endurance


Rating out of 5 will be?: 1 to 3

Distance: Approx 250km round trip depending where you live

Description: This is the annual club Gymkhana. This weekend is about getting together as a club, a bit of exploring, some fun events and quiz night and as always, the communal cook up. The winner of the event gets a really nice trophy for the year and a miniature to keep.

Come for one day or stay the weekend, that is the beauty of being so close to Perth.

The communal cook up will be on the Saturday Night, when you post that you are coming along please also post what you will be cooking and if it will be Entrée, Main or Dessert. Or a combination of all of the above.

Stay tuned for the program of events and also the list of learning subjects.

Car Limit: Open

Dog Friendly: Yes – On a Leash.

 Meeting Point: Austrax 4X4 - Brookton

Meeting time: When you get there.

Comms: UHF channel 20

What To Bring: Recovery Gear, Camera, Food and Drink for four days, First Aid Kit and UHF Radio.

What: Weekender – WPC Camp Oven Cook Up

Description: This is the annual club camp oven cook up. This weekend is about getting together as a club, a bit of exploring and the cook up. So come along and enjoy the company of your fellow clubbies and taste some amazing food. We really do have some budding Master Chefs.

Come for one day or stay the weekend, that is the beauty of being so close to Perth.

Description: This is a trip to the Helena National Park and will be a mystery tour as I have not been there. The plan is fairly open as it will be a trip of discovery.

Meeting time: 0900 for 0930 departure

Description: Welcome to one of hopefully many Mid-Week Meanders. This one is to explore the first stage of the MundAl Track as far a Dwellingup. The plan is fairly open as it will be a trip of discovery.

 Meeting Point: Sculpture Park – Cnr Jacoby and Nichol St

Meeting time: 0930 for 1000 departure

Comms: UHF channel 20

THIS TRIP HAS BEEN CANCELLED

Ladies and Gents,

I apologise but due to the current forecast and the fact that the area in and around Serpentine dam will be closed due to and extreme Fire Danger Warning we have had to cancel this trip and the meeting.

I will endeavour to plan another trip in the coming weeks.

Once again I apologise for the late notice.
